The river Dure runs along the property: on the side of the house, at the edge of the water, a natural beach, consisting of the clear silt of the river, offers a rest area; on the other side of the bridge, a magnificent two-storey garden offers quiet recesses and a view of the village.

On the remains of an old steep vine, Bart and Marieke have created a park where it is good to stop at moments hot of the day. The vegetation is Mediterranean and the scents of thyme, verbena, rosemary, sage, mint, lavender, pine … accompany the walks.
