The Manufacture Royale de draps is located in the lower part of the steep Montolieu village.

This village is surrounded by two rocky faults and two rivers, la Dure and Alzeau. Montolieu is the ‘village du livre’ : nearly 16 booksellers offer fans a variety of books. In addition, it is a regional cultural center, with the foundation Cérès Franco. At the top of the village, the view of La Chapelle Saint Roch, on a mount surrounded by cypresses, olive trees and umbrella pines, offers a perspective out of time.
